What is a half-case?

As the name already suggests, the half-case is a bag which half covers the body of the camera. The half-case has therefore been designed in such a way that you can quickly use the camera when the perfect photo opportunity presents itself. Thanks to the cutout around the camera lens, you do not need to remove the case when you want to take a photo. In this way, you can act quickly and take a photo immediately. Frequently used models are from Olympus and Gariz.

Ease of transport and protection

As well as the ease of use in the way you can take the mirrorless camera with you, the simplicity of the half-case lies in the protection that the case offers. By fastening a carrier strap to the half-case, it can be easily attached to the shoulder. Useful if you are walking far and wish to keep the camera at hand. An important function of the case is the protection which it offers for the body of the camera against scratches, dirt or knocks.

Operation and appearance

Since the camera cover has been designed in such a way that it fits exactly around the body of the accompanying camera, all the control buttons, the monitor, the lens and ports remain free to use. The cover itself is often designed from high-quality and sturdy material and with an attractive appearance. As well as the protective function, the case is therefore also a fashion item.
