Sling Bags page 8

Flexibility and ease of use

Sling bags owe their effectiveness to the ease of getting the camera into your hands quickly. The bags are designed with a flexible and soft carry strap, which can easily be slung forward over the shoulder. This system is useful for capturing animals in nature or for use in busy places, where the ideal photo opportunity can occur at any time. The bag can be easily opened with a zip, clip system or velcro. The ease of use is therefore a big advantage of the sling bags from Lowpro and Crumpler.

Capacity and protection

Sling bags come in many designs and sizes, so it doesn't matter whether you want to bring a analog or a wildlife camera . The required capacity therefore depends on what you're bringing along. A camera body with some lenses and accessories such as filters and memory cards can therefore be transported in a sling bag. The division into different compartments means that your equipment is not only protected against impact, but also that you can determine the layout yourself. Handy if you have several cameras and want to change the items you take with you. In addition to a protective role against knocks and bumps, the shell provides protection against water, dust and sand. If you want to take more equipment with you, you can, for example, opt for a suitable backpack.
