Atomos Shogun AV-19M Monitor
The Atomos Shogun AV-19M is a professional 19-inch 4K HDR rackmount touchscreen monitor designed for studio, broadcast and live production. It combines IP-based monitoring via NDI HX3 with traditional 12G-SDI and HDMI 2.0 workflows in a single 7RU chassis, so you never have to choose between infrastructures. The display renders 3840 x 2160 pixels at 1200 nits in the DCI-P3 colour space, with support for native HDR, HLG, PQ and 3D LUT monitoring modes.
For image analysis you have access to waveform, RGB parade, vectorscope, focus peaking, zebras, Atomos false color, ARRI false color and EL Zone, complemented by anamorphic de-squeeze, frame guides, safe areas and custom 3D LUTs in 17- or 33-point format. Via NDI you can display a single source full-screen or monitor four NDI sources simultaneously in a quad-view layout. Built-in HDMI-to-SDI and SDI-to-HDMI conversion also makes the AV-19M useful as a signal converter between workflows. Programmable shortcut keys give you quick access to the functions you use most.
Calibration is possible via the Atomos Calibrator app using a Calibrite Display Pro HL or Plus HL probe; the required calibration cable (ATOMCAB018) is sold separately. The Shogun AV-19M is the monitor-only sibling of the Shogun AV-19: if you also need ProRes or DNx recording and switching, that model is the one to look at.
