DJI SDR Transmission 2 Expansion Accessory Kit
The DJI SDR Transmission 2 Expansion Accessory Kit is an expansion set for the DJI SDR Transmission 2 transceiver, intended for professional film sets that need more connections, sturdier mounting and full gimbal control.
The heart of the kit is the Expansion Plate (SDI/HDMI/USB-C). You add it to the transceiver and it gives you an SDI input and output, so you can connect the transceiver to broadcast monitors and other SDI equipment. The Expansion Plate supports video up to 1080p/60fps via SDI and can output video simultaneously with the transceiver's HDMI port, so you can feed several screens at once on set. Via the USB-C ports on the plate you connect the RS 4 Pro, RS 4, RS 3 Pro, Ronin 2 or Master Wheels for gimbal control and power.
The Transceiver Cage physically protects the transceiver and the Expansion Plate and offers multiple threaded holes (1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16) and a NATO rail for monitors, microphones and other accessories. HDMI and USB-C cable clamps keep the cables in place, even during intensive car shoots over rough terrain. The cage weighs approximately 91 grams and keeps the rig compact.
The kit also includes the L-Shaped USB-C Video Cable (DP, 50 cm) for DP video connections with the transceiver, the Gimbal Control Cable (USB-C to CAN) for the RS 4 Pro, RS 4 and RS 3 Pro, and the Gimbal Control Cable (USB-C to 4-pin) for the Ronin 2 and Master Wheels. A D-TAP to USB-C power cable (50 cm) and a Camera Cold Shoe Adapter are included as well. Good to know: for gimbal control via the RS series you also need a separate Multi-Camera Control Cable to connect the gimbal to the camera.
