JJC MSG-PM2ND BLACK Magnetic Grip & Filter Adapter System
The JJC MSG-PM2ND BLACK Magnetic Grip & Filter Adapter System is compatible with the iPhone 17 Pro Max, 16 Pro Max, 15 Pro Max, or 14 Pro Max. The complete kit consists of a magnetic grip, a magnetic filter adapter ring, and a variable ND2–128 filter, allowing you to hold your smartphone like a camera whilst using camera filters to capture professional-quality photos.
The magnetic filter adapter ring features a high-quality ABS housing for strength and durability. The threaded section is made from an aluminium alloy and supports 67 mm camera filters. The lens contact area is wrapped in soft silicone to prevent scratches and reduce light leakage and flare.
The grip features a DSLR-style handle design and is wrapped in anti-slip silicone for a secure and comfortable hold, effectively reducing camera shake during photography or filming. It can also be folded out for use as a phone stand, supporting both landscape and portrait orientations without blocking the phone's side buttons.
The magnetic plate features a dual-sided magnetic design. The front can be firmly attached to the phone, making it easy to switch between landscape and portrait shooting whilst retaining full access to the side buttons. The rear can not only be magnetically attached to the included magnetic filter adapter ring, but also supports accessories such as a magnetic fill light, a magnetic selfie mirror, and a magnetic make-up mirror, giving you flexible expansion options. The magnetic plate is equipped with 16 powerful magnets for a stable and secure attachment. A large silicone-covered contact surface between the grip and the phone helps prevent scratches during prolonged use. The bottom of the grip is fitted with a standard 1/4"-20 screw hole for mounting on a tripod and a lanyard hole for use with the included wrist strap, making it easier to take out and about.
Wireless remote
It also comes with a detachable magnetic wireless remote, allowing photos and videos to be captured without touching the phone. The remote is compatible with both iOS and Android systems, connects without requiring an app, and offers a maximum operating range of up to 10 metres. The built-in battery can be charged via the included 50 cm Type-C cable, with a red indicator showing that charging is in progress and a blue indicator confirming the battery is fully charged. The wireless remote can be magnetically stored in the dedicated slot on the grip, keeping it securely in place and easily accessible.
Variable filter
The ND2–128 variable ND filter provides 7 stops of light reduction, enabling precise adjustment to lighting conditions to reduce incoming light and prevent overexposure. It allows for creative effects such as long exposure and shallow depth of field in complex or changing lighting conditions, whilst maintaining colour balance and consistent image quality. Suitable for landscapes, portraits, and a wide range of photography scenarios.
Please note: The filter adapter ring may not be compatible with certain phone cases and cannot be used simultaneously with them. When used with a 67 mm variable ND filter, vignetting may occur at 0.5x wide-angle shots. At 1x magnification, cross-shaped vignetting may occur depending on the selected ND level; higher density settings increase the likelihood of cross-shaped vignetting.
