The magnetic Revolution Plus Anti-Laser protection filter from Kase features a coating that prevents laser energy from passing through a lens — directly or indirectly — and damaging the sensitive image sensor of a camera. This protective layer is ideal when shooting in environments where lasers may be present, such as concerts, stage shows, bar scenes, parties, and more. Laser pointers generally have an output range of 1 to 5 milliwatts, while stage laser lighting can exceed 10 watts and architectural laser lighting applications can contain up to 40 watts.

Exposure to laser light can damage the image sensor or its coating, which may manifest as red, purple, or blue spots, or in extreme cases as vertical or horizontal streaks. This filter not only reduces the level of laser energy transmission, but also acts as a light pollution filter, reducing colour cast caused by artificial light sources in the surrounding environment.

This filter is made from shockproof optical glass and features multi-coating and scratch-resistant coating. It is water- and oil-resistant, making it suitable for use in rugged environments and adverse weather conditions, while still being easy to clean. The magnetic filter can be attached directly to a universal 77mm magnetic adapter ring and removed just as quickly.
