The Panasonic MFT 9mm f/1.7 Leica DG Summilux ASPH is a wide-angle lens for Lumix G cameras with the Micro Four Thirds system. The lens is unique due to its extremely short focusing distance of 9.5cm and a magnification of 0.25x (35mm camera equivalent: 0.5x). The amount of shifting then depends on how far you turn the focus ring. How far the focus point shifts per amount of rotation can be set from 90 to 360 degrees, in 30-degree increments. The lens is equipped with a special mechanism that suppresses focus breathing. Finally, the aperture control is in microsteps, allowing smooth adjustment of exposure.
