SmallRig 5810 Cage for Canon EOS C80
The SmallRig 5810 Cage for Canon EOS C80 is expertly designed to provide filmmakers with versatile shooting solutions. The kit includes a top plate, two side plates, a base plate, a bottom mounting plate, a cable clamp, and a NATO rail.
The cage features a modular design and is equipped with a wide range of mounting options: 1/4"-20 and 3/8"-16 threaded holes, 1/4"-20 mounting holes, ARRI 3/8"-16 mounting holes, M3 threaded holes, cold shoe mounts, H21 NATO rails, QD connections, and more. This extensive compatibility ensures seamless integration with optional side handles (SmallRig ID 3260, 4015, 4016), magic arms (SmallRig ID 5141, 4194, 3873, 3959), monitor mounts (SmallRig ID 4487, 2906B, 2903B, 2905B), baseplates with dual rod clamps (SmallRig ID 3357), and follow focus rod clamps (SmallRig ID 3598).
The modular baseplate offers two configurations: by attaching the bottom mounting plate, the distance between the screw holes is increased, making the baseplate compatible with separately available tripods (SmallRig ID 4463), ARRI BP8 bridge plates, LWS baseplates with dual rod clamps (SmallRig ID 3357), and shoulder rigs (SmallRig ID 4181), suitable for both tripod and shoulder mounting. Removing the mounting plate allows direct attachment to DJI RS 2, RS 3 Pro, and RS 4 Pro gimbals.
The ergonomic right-side plate improves grip and features multiple screw holes for attaching optional accessories such as tripods (SmallRig ID 4463) or mini L-shaped mounting plates (SmallRig ID MD4360). The modular NATO rail, designed with matching grooves for the original handle, can be mounted on the top and sides of the cage for seamless horizontal and vertical shooting.
This cage kit is compatible with Canon microphone holders, focal plane marking hooks, and off-camera shoe cords (OC-E4A). In addition, the kit includes an HDMI cable clamp for stable data transfer and a magnetic hex key for easy assembly and disassembly.
