SmallRig 6172 35mm External Optical Viewfinder

35mm External Optical Viewfinder

The 35mm External Optical Viewfinder brings the classic film-photography feel back to your digital camera, with a natural optical image that reduces colour shift caused by backlight for more authentic framing. The field of view corresponds to a 35mm full-frame lens, giving a versatile, wide angle that's ideal for street photography; if you use an APS-C camera, it's best to pair the viewfinder with a 23mm lens for optimal framing.

The optical system consists of 5 groups of precision glass with 93% light transmission, for a bright, high-contrast image with minimal distortion, which eases eye strain during longer shoots. Built-in 3:2 frame lines help you compose accurately, so you quickly capture a tight, well-balanced photo without guesswork.

You attach the viewfinder via the universal hot shoe mount, compatible with selected models from Fujifilm, Sony, Nikon, Canon, Ricoh, and Leica. A silicone pad protects the contact points of your hot shoe, so you're ready to shoot right away, without any complicated installation.
