Canon EOS C70
The EOS C70 is a Cinema EOS camera with an RF mount and a Super 35mm DGO 4K sensor. Thanks to 4K 120P slow motion, a wide dynamic range and Dual Pixel CMOS AF in a compact body.
The design features a multifunctional grip with three customisable dials and a multi-directional joystick. This makes the video camera easy to operate. The body is made of carbon fibre and polycarbonate, designed as a strong and lightweight workhorse. Its compact size makes it easy to mount on gimbals, portable or shoulder rigs, drones and in FPV helmets.
The EOS C70 features an impressively wide dynamic range of more than 16 stops. This is because each pixel on the Dual Gain sensor is read at two gain levels (high and low). This combination not only preserves detail in highlights and shadows, but also enhances it. By using Canon's advanced Canon Log 2 & 3 gamma profiles, you can be sure to capture images that offer excellent flexibility in post-production. It also has standard PQ and HLG HDR.
Professional video equipment typically offers a wide selection of frame rates, resolutions and formats to meet almost any need. The EOS C70 goes one step further with DCI 4K recording up to 120fps in 10-bit 4:2:2. For even more speed, a Super 16mm crop option enables DCI 2K recording up to 180fps. Users can even load custom LUTs to preview the look and record footage using Long GOP encoding via XF-AVC, HEVC and H.264.
The Dual Pixel CMOS AF system in the C70 uses Canon's EOS iTR AF X, built with deep learning technology, and can track moving subjects with greater accuracy. In particular, a head detection algorithm for Face Detection mode provides improved accuracy and reliability. Even before these upgrades, the Dual Pixel CMOS AF system was considered an invaluable tool by many filmmakers and videographers. The RF mount features a large diameter with a short back focus, and the 12-pin communication provides a great balance between optical and electronic innovation. It also delivers excellent AF speed thanks to the range of Canon RF lenses.
The C70 is equipped with the Direct Touch Control system, enabling highly intuitive control of most settings via the large 3.5" vari-angle LCD touchscreen. You can change formats, resolution, start/stop recording, adjust aperture and more simply by tapping the screen. The entire camera is built with video in mind, offering numerous buttons for quick access to common settings and plenty of customisation. For vertical filming (ideal for social media), the C70 has a 1/4" -20 tripod socket on the side of the camera grip.
Canon RF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS USM Z - Black
The Canon RF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS USM Z is the perfect hybrid zoom lens for professional photographers and videographers. It features a fast maximum aperture of f/2.8 with eleven blades for beautiful bokeh. Aberrations, reflections and flare are a thing of the past thanks to two Super UD lenses, one UD lens, three aspherical lenses and ASC and Super Spectra coatings. The lens has a weather-resistant construction and the fluorine coating protects the front element from dirt.
The Canon RF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS USM Z has an Optical Image Stabiliser of 5.5 stops and, combined with the body, you can create up to 7.5 stops of image stabilisation. Dual Nano USM motors ensure super-fast and accurate autofocus.
The lens features a Control Ring, two customisable lens function buttons and a short 70° zoom ring so you can adjust your focal length in an instant. The zoom mechanism is internally controlled for a consistent lens length.
The Canon RF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS USM Z delivers beautiful images and also includes useful (video) additions. For example, it is equipped with an additional iris ring so you can precisely set the aperture opening while filming. The lens is also compatible with the RF 1.4x and RF 2x extenders and PZ-E2 and PZ-E2B power zoom adapters. Ideal for extending the maximum focal length and achieving extra precise and smooth zooming.
The lens is supplied with a detachable tripod mount. Thanks to the button on the lens, you can still easily rotate and lock your camera when using it on a tripod.
