The SmallRig 5546 Mobile Video Cage for iPhone 17 Pro Max (Basic Edition) is a professional expansion solution designed for the iPhone 17 Pro Max, enabling professional video recording, livestreaming, and short film production. This kit includes a video cage and a soft TPU bumper.

Beyond everyday protection for your phone, the bumper case comes standard with a T-mount rear plate and a 17mm threaded lens for external lens mounting during creative production. The T-mount rear plate can also be replaced with a 67mm magnetic filter adapter (sold separately) for enhanced optical output.

The phone can be mounted in the cage with the bumper case attached. The soft bumper case features multiple 1/4"-20 anti-twist screw holes and cold shoe mounts for expanding with optional accessories such as handles, tripods, microphones, and lights. Simplified quick-release connections enable efficient handheld or tripod setups.

The side strap slots are compatible with optional professional wrist and shoulder straps with a diameter of less than 2 mm, keeping your hands free between shots. The cut-out design retains access to all iPhone buttons, ports, the radar system, the ultra-wide-angle lens, and wireless charging.

The quick-lock mechanism allows easy and secure attachment and removal of your phone, preventing accidental unlocking and ejection. The video cage features an all-metal construction for comprehensive protection, shock absorption, and scratch resistance.
