The Tamron 70-210mm F4 Di VC USD Tripod Collar Mount is a detachable tripod collar for the Tamron 70-210mm f / 4 lens. This ring supports the lens when your camera and lens are on a tripod. The center of gravity of the lens is moved by the tripod collar. As a result, the weight of the lens is better distributed and this ensures that the lens mount of the camera is less heavily loaded. Especially with larger and heavier lenses, the use of a tripod gondola is advisable.
